Daniel a. Nied

Daniel Nied has been repairing timepieces since age 10.  He has run a successful restoration business since 1977, with clients that include museums, collectors, antiques dealers, entertainment companies and the federal government. 

He has taught the science of horology since 1981 to both students and apprentices, and is the former Director of the NAWCC School of Horology.  

He is in demand as a lecturer to amateur and professional horological organizations, as well as to community groups.  

He is a graduate of Hiram Scott College, The Chicago School of Watchmaking, and the Gemological  Institute of America.
